Parked Domains
Find what parked domains are, why they're so useful and ways to park a domain name.
A parked Internet domain is one that is taken, yet it is not linked to some other service - web or e-mail hosting. Essentially, such a domain name will not load any actual content if you type it in a browser, but no one else can take it as you've already registered it and you are its owner. The advantage of obtaining a domain name and parking it afterwards is that you’ll be able to keep it and not stress that somebody else could possibly register it meanwhile if, for example, the site for it is not ready yet. You are able to set a temporary Under Construction webpage for a parked domain name while you're working on the web site, or forward it to some other web address - temporarily or permanently. The second option can be used when you have already registered domain.com, for example, and you obtain domain.net and domain.org, in order to protect a brand name or a trademark. In this situation, the .net and .org domain addresses can be parked and forwarded to the .com because you do not need individual sites for them.

Parked Domains in Cloud Web Hosting
If you have a
Linux cloud web hosting with us, you will be able to park any of your domain names easily. The feature is offered for the domains registered with our company, and not for the ones which are only hosted here and pointed from another company, because a domain can be parked only through its registrar. Our Domain Manager instrument will enable you to choose from a number of templates and you will be able to include custom text to each of them. Forwarding a domain address to another URL is as easy as simply typing the web address and saving it. If you would like to host any of your parked domains, it takes only a mouse click to do it and our system is going to do the rest - changing the name servers, setting up a domain folder in your account, creating the needed DNS records, etc. For simpler management, you're going to be able to filter the domain addresses registered in the account by their status - parked or hosted.

Parked Domains in Semi-dedicated Hosting
If you buy a
semi-dedicated server plan through our company, you can register and park as many domain addresses as you want. In contrast to other companies, we won't charge you an additional fee for this feature. You can park a domain with just two clicks through the Domain Manager instrument, which you could access from the Hepsia web hosting CP. In case you choose to use a template, you'll have a few different ones available and you'll be able to add custom text to any of them. The feature-rich Domain Manager enables you to set filters and see only the hosted or only the parked domains in your account. Through the same instrument, you can also un-park a domain and host it in your account with only a click. Our system will change the name servers of the domain address and will create its folder in the File Manager section, and the required DNS records for it, automatically.
